2 Simple Ways to Instantly Increase Your Professionalism.
Hello friend!
I recently attended the “7 Figure Immersion” event put on by Jonathan Budd and it was amazing to say the least. But I got “knocked over the head” about a few things I was missing in my business…
Luckily, as we grow as entrepreneurs, we become more open to change and we start adapting to what is PROVEN to work, (as opposed to thinking we have it all together and thinking we know everything) which is simply just a FANTASY that will leave you broke and lonely every time, yikes.
But because you are here, we know that YOU are on the road to merging with your HIGHEST ENTREPRENEURIAL SELF, so I’m going to share with you a few tips I picked up from an amazing marketer and connector, Aaron Fortner, that will have your professional presence soaring. Aaron not only introduced me to my current business opportunity but he is someone that effortlessly EXUDES Professionalism…

In business, you will see that it is difficult to attract someone with a HIGHER level of professionalism than yourself. So what I’m about to share should be looked on as a HUGEpriority, and one that I am committed to giving a new DEDICATION to.
WARNING: The following will instantly RAMP UP your professionalism and have you attracting the HIGHEST level people into your business…
#1. Check Your Voicemail Greeting:
Is your voicemail greeting professional or too “friendly”? (meaning too social, as if you were hanging with your friends at a party or something)
Let’s use me as an example…
Those who know me closely know me as being fun, loving and friendly so my voicemail portrayed that as well.
But was it TOO friendly? Yes.
It didn’t exemplify that I am a busy Mom running a business, a family and leading teams. It said “I’m here waiting for your call!” Although we want to have an open-ness to our business, we also need to set the tone for URGENCY.
People need to know that you are busy and should be “postured” to value your time. It also sets a good example for what your business clients and associates should be doing.
Just for kicks…
Example of my old voice mail: “Hey it’s Molly, sorry I missed ya, leave a message and I’ll call ya back!”
Example of my new (professionalized) voice mail: “Hello! You have reached the cell phone of Molly Dalbec, I’m sorry I missed your call. Please leave your name, number and a good time to reach you and I will get back to you as soon as possible. Have a blessed day, and I look forward to speaking with you soon.”
So let me ask you, is your voicemail greeting clear, concise and professional? If not, time to lift it to a new level so you can start ATTRACTING a new level!
#2. Email Signature:
(mollysonlinesecrets is now www.MollyDalbec.com. You’re in the right place!)
Be sure to add a professional email signature. This will make your emails “memorable” and create a lasting impression for your contacts, but it will also give them a quick and accessible way to reach you!
You can add this to your Gmail account by going to “Settings” and “Signature” and just type in your information. I recommend you add a photo and increase the font size to make it “POP”.
I also recommend you add a phone number and other ways to connect (Such as Facebook, Twitter and your Blog) with you online because people like to know that you are a REAL person, and that you are making yourself available to them. If you are uneasy about this due to privacy issues, you can set up a FREE voicemail through www.k7.net and direct your calls to the voicemail.
( I am not an affiliate for k7 as they are absolutely free)
Sound simple? It is! And it will make all the difference to your potential business clients when you’ve paid attention to these (seemingly) small details.
Just so you know, this isn’t even a fraction of what was shared at this event, and I am piecing together some fresh new content (and golden nuggets) that I will be dishing out to my friends and followers in the coming days.
